Curation for Festivals

Bankfest
Bankfest is a brand new festival for the charity The Bank of Dreams and Nightmares in Bridport, Dorset which took place in October 2024. I co-founded and curated the event which saw pupils from three local, secondary schools have the opportunity to listen to and work with ten writers over three days. In 2019 I curated the hugely successful TEDx Sherborne, and prior to that I founded and ran a festival of good writing for Sherborne’s three secondary schools for over five years. With this experience and a diverse network of writers, of both fiction and non-fiction, well-known and emerging, I can help people or organisations curate, programme and source the perfect contributors for their festival.
My unique offer is three-fold: bold, imaginative curation; a focus on good writing in its many forms from songs to speeches; and a deep engagement with young people in their schools and communities.
